Love this place so much, great selection of food that tastes excellent. Awesome variety of cask ales and other local favorites. Tons of comfy seating indoors and out, large front lawn with lots of dogs running around. Best pub in Torquay!

Went here twice in the summer of 2018. Once for lunch and once for the Sunday roast. This is quite a large pub, with a large terrace in a beautiful location.
The food is better than at an average pub but also a bit more expensive. Think for lunch at prices of around £ 9 to £ 16 for a meal. There are 2 and 3 course menu options which are a good deal (at around £14 for 2 courses). Sunday roast is fairly priced at around £12 to £14 depending on your choice of meats.
Also one of the few places where there is actually a choice of vegan & glutenfree products.
A word of caution for people with a non-UK bank card: don't use the "open tab" system: this will cause trouble with your bank & payments.
